Welcome to our new digital european network

Hello! We’re thrilled to welcome you to a new stage in the European youth circus network. We’re working on a user-friendly digital map that will show all youth circuses in Europe.

Our map and network are still being built, but we’re already inviting youth circuses to start creating their profiles. This way, you’ll be ready when the system fully launches later this year.

Remember, we’re still preparing for the public launch. We’re constantly working to improve the quality, stability, and features. Our system is like a thrilling circus performance – always evolving and improving.

By joining our directory, your youth circus becomes part of a larger, connected community, visible to more people. This guide will help you set up your profile during these early stages.

Creating your Profile

Welcome to EYCO’s temporary digital home! Here, you can look at other Youth Circuses and check out our exciting features.

Want to share your Youth Circus with the world? Just find and click the ‘Register’ button at the top of the screen. This is the first step to creating your Youth Circus Profile!

To start creating your profile on our platform, fill out the Youth Circus Profile form. After you submit it, the details you provide will be sent to your country’s National Umbrella organization for review. They will then be asked to approve your Youth Circus account.

Once your profile gets approved, you’re ready to go! You can then log in to the website whenever you want.

The Dashboard

When your profile gets approved and you sign in, you can visit ‘your dashboard’. This is your personal space where you can update details, add more information about your Youth Circus, or send messages to your National Umbrella.

Your National Umbrella

To reach out to your national umbrella, just click ‘Contact Your Umbrella’. This will show you who your point of contact is. You can also send them a message directly from here.

Editing your Profile

To start your profile? Click on ‘Profile Information’. Here, you can add details about your Youth
Circus.

You choose what people can see. More choices will come as we update our system.

The Gallery

You can make your profile more interesting using the ‘Gallery’ tab. Here, you can:

Turn on or off the Profile Gallery.
Add or remove photos.
See your photos.

To add photos, click the ‘Upload Photo’ button and fill in the details. This helps more people find your profile and lets you credit the photographer.

You can also write a description for those who might find it hard to see the photo clearly.

Once you’ve added your photos, they will appear in the next section.

And if you decide that a certain photo isn’t quite right, you have full control. Simply hover over the photo you want to remove and double click ‘Delete’.

The photo will immediately be removed from your profile.

About Profile Section

There’s an ‘About’ section in your profile. You can:

Switch the About section on or off.
Update the About content.

Once you turn on the section, you’ll see a box. This is where you can share your Youth Circus’s story. After you write it and press ‘Update About’, your story will show on your profile.

Volunteering

The ‘Volunteering’ section is an important part of your profile. Here’s what you can do:

Choose to show or hide the Volunteering section.
Share a brief introduction about your vacancies or any other important details.
Add new volunteer opportunities.
Delete volunteer positions that are no longer available.

This is the perfect place to highlight how individuals can contribute to your Youth Circus.

Want to add a volunteering opportunity? Click ‘Add Position’. This will open a form. Fill this form, and any volunteering applications will go to the email address you give.

If you need to remove a volunteering opportunity, it’s easy! Just click the ‘X’ in the left corner of the opportunity

Contact Section

Your ‘Contact’ section helps people connect with your Youth Circus. Here’s what you can do:

Choose if you want the Contact section to show or not.
Add or delete contact details, like when you can be reached.
Give a general email address for contact.
Share a general phone number for contact.

This section lets users who visit your profile find a way to ask questions or learn more.

Future Features & Growth

Our new system is just beginning, and we have lots of exciting features coming up. We want to make it easier for people in Europe to find and join Youth Circus.
